Before We Start
My infant photography sessions are incredibly personalized. I prefer to work one-on-one with you to better understand your unique style and preferences. If you have any specific requests or ideas, now is the time to discuss them.
A pre-session consultation is our time to plan the details together. We will cover everything from prop selection to wall art design for your home. We may even talk about the gifts you're giving to your loved ones.
During Your Session
You will have plenty of time to attend to your infants's needs and make sure they are comfortable throughout the session. I want this to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. My newborn shoots have a relaxed, unhurried pace to keep your baby calm, happy, and safe.
I like to shoot siblings and parent poses first. That way, we can concentrate on your baby's adorable moments for the rest of the session. You can also have time for diaper changes, feeding, and cuddling your little infant while I capture those precious brother or sister moments on camera.
Dressing in layers would be a good idea because the studio will be very warm. I want to make sure your baby is comfortable throughout the session.
After Your Session
It's time for the big reveal! We will send you an email with a private gallery of your infant photos after two or three weeks. You can then choose your favorites and decide which ones you would like to keep.
From prints to albums to birth announcements, there are endless ways to showcase your baby's first portraits. Select images for prints, albums, birth announcements, and other wonderful photo products for display and sharing. I'll be there to guide you every step of the way.
How Long Does It Take?
Studio sessions typically take one to three hours to allow ample time to capture various poses and expressions. A relaxed morning schedule is recommended to avoid the rush and allow everyone to fully enjoy the experience. If you opt for lifestyle sessions, expect a duration of one to two hours to authentic moments in the comfort of your own home.
