We were blessed to have my sister and her family visit for a month this summer. I thoroughly enjoyed their visit and the quality time spent together. It was a colder and cloudier June and beginning of July but the sky and sunsets were amazing. The Vetch (purple flowers that were everywhere) this year put on such a beautiful show.

Welcoming a newborn into your family is a beautiful, emotional time. As a newborn and family photographer, I love when I have the opportunity to document these early days as everyone in the family gets to know its newest member. It was a pleasure to meet The Dotts family and welcome baby Maverick with a newborn lifestyle photography session in their beautiful pinterest home.

Maddox’s senior session was so much FUN!!! We met up in downtown CDA on a beautiful April evening for his senior portraits. We the alleyways of downtown CDA then we made our way down to Tubs Hill. This is one of my FAVORITE location combinations – it allows us to get so much variety in such a short period of time.

It was an honor to capture this sweet family’s new addition. I have known Emily for a quite few years now and I am excited for her family for their sweet baby girl. I have loved capturing the love of this growing family.

I love when when husbands book the maternity sessions. They were both perfect models. She used two dresses from my client closet and she just looked stunning in both.
