HM Design & Photography offers a custom, fine-art school photography experience that feels personal and relaxed — not rushed or sterile. On picture day, kids aren’t forced into stiff poses; instead, I capture genuine expressions, candid moments, and the unique energy of each student.

ONLINE ORDERING
We are paperless!

Approximately two weeks after picture day, student portraits will be uploaded to our proofing site.

Parents will receive an email or text with a direct link to their secure gallery.

Thank you for partnering with HM Design School Photography

We need the following to finalize planning:
- Estimated student count
- Photo location (gym, library, outdoors, etc.)
- Bell schedule or class rotation plan
- Primary on-site contact for picture day
Once received, we’ll provide a clear photography timeline for approval.
Ideally, school photography should be booked 3–6 months in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons (fall and spring).

After receiving student estimates, we will provide a projected timeline for the full day.n text goes here
We recommend:
- A large, well-lit indoor space (gym, cafeteria, library)
- Access to power outlets if available
- Minimal foot traffic through the area
Outdoor options can be discussed if weather allows.
Parents are notified through:
- School-distributed flyers or emails
- Automated gallery emails once photos are ready
We provide copy and/or flyers that schools can distribute.
No. All ordering is handled directly through the online gallery system.
- Schools do not collect money
- Schools do not process orders
- Schools do not manage payments
This removes financial responsibility from school staff.
If enough students are absent, we can discuss a retake or makeup day. This is arranged case-by-case based on need and availability.
Galleries are typically delivered within the timeframe outlined in the contract (usually 1–3 weeks after picture day).
Once galleries are live, parents receive ordering instructions directly.
Ordering windows are time-limited and listed clearly in parent emails. Deadlines are managed automatically through the gallery system.

Schools are not expected to manage ordering support.
Any changes should be communicated as early as possible. Last-minute changes may affect timeline accuracy and efficiency.
We recommend reserving dates early for the following year. Schools will receive a rebooking email after the season ends, or you may contact us anytime to secure your dates.

Thank you for supporting school photography. It’s a pleasure to capture these moments for your family.

You will receive an email with a secure gallery link and password once photos are ready. Simply click the link, enter the password, and you’ll be able to view and order your child’s images online.
Each gallery is open for a limited time, which will be clearly listed in the gallery email. Please be sure to place your order before the deadline, as galleries automatically close after that date.
All orders are placed directly through the online gallery:
1. Select your favorite images
2. Choose prints, digital files, or packages
3. Complete checkout securely online
Orders are processed and fulfilled after checkout—no paperwork required.
We accept major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed securely through the gallery system.
- Digital images: Delivered via email after purchase
- Printed products: Shipped directly to the address you provide during checkout
Delivery timelines may vary depending on product selection. You’ll receive shipping updates once your order is fulfilled.
Yes! You can order prints, digital images, or a combination of both directly from the gallery.
If you miss the gallery deadline, please contact me as soon as possible. While galleries typically close on schedule, I will do my best to assist when possible.
School portraits are lightly edited for consistency and quality. Custom retouching requests are not typically available for school sessions.
Each child has thier own gallery. Individual access details will be provided in your email.
