WHAT IS FINE ART SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY?

Fine Art School Photography is a custom photography experience for select schools (including preschools, homeschool children, sports and dance schools) in the North Idaho area. I provide a streamlined, personal, professional service and a product that delivers genuine, artistic images of children. The atmosphere for the children is easy and laid-back and fun loving. My love for children helps me to provide an experience for the kids that's fun, easy-going, and captures them with natural expressions. I do not force smiles or awkward poses. The resulting images are relaxed and as unique as the child.

Approximately two weeks after picture day, student portraits will be uploaded to our proofing site.

Parents will receive an email or text with a direct link to their secure gallery.

PORTRAIT DAY DETAILS

What to Expect:

Fun & Candid: We'll take multiple photos of your child, letting them shine and be themselves!
Sibling Photos: We love capturing these special sibling moments. But BOTH siblings MUST attend the school we are photographing, We can not photograph un-enrolled children on the scheduled school photo day.
Class Photos: We hope all children will be able to participate in the class photo.
Cap and Gown for graduating Kindergarten Students.

Getting Ready for Picture Day:

Email Communication: Please ensure you provide the best email address to receive important updates and access your child's photo gallery.
Attire Suggestions: Avoid large logos, hoodies, and sweatshirts. Solid-colored clothing in muted tones works best. Choose similar tones for top and bottom, and consider clothing that shows off details like sundresses, ties, collared shirts, or pretty sleeves (as there may be a full-length pose).

Ordering Your Photos:

Easy Online Gallery: Within 2 weeks of picture day, you'll receive an email notification when your child's private gallery is ready.
Customizable Packages: Choose your favorite photos and build a package that fits your needs. We also offer pre-designed studio packages and digital options.
Additional Prints: Want more? You can easily purchase individual prints (a la carte) as well.

Hi, I'm Heidi, your school photographer! I absolutely love capturing genuine smiles and freezing those precious moments in time. I started my career as a graphic designer, but after having children, my passion shifted to photography. It’s the perfect blend of my technical skills and my love for the high energy of a school environment. I can't wait to capture your students’ stories this year!
